Today I’m over at Mom Endeavors showing how to make my Embroidery Hoop Thanksgiving Banner. It adorns my entryway along with this vintage frame that I painted with emerald green chalk paint, with a mini version of my Fall Acorn Wreath hanging in the middle. It uses a 4-inch embroidery hoop wrapped in twine and just a few acorns and felted leaves. Beneath my banner are my Chalk Painted Pom Pom Trim Pumpkins. They are sitting on a console table I bought 15 years ago, right after I finished school and started my first job. I needed a little desk and got a good deal on it at Bombay Company (remember that store?). It’s hard to believe that in 5 years, it will technically be vintage! I always think about painting it, but as it is, it reminds me of those first day as a career girl. So for sentimental reasons, I don’t really want to paint it just yet. I’m guest posting at Mom Endeavors today as part of her Cornucopia of Creativity series, which will feature a fun Thanksgiving project each day. It started last Friday through November 19. So make sure you head on over there today to see my Thanksgiving Banner Tutorial, as well as each day (click the button below) for another new tutorial, tip, or recipe to get you ready for Thanksgiving. Thanks Sara for having me on your blog today!
