I made two seashell Christmas ornaments. For the scallop shell, I took a Quick Quotes chipboard die cut with a quotation from Anne of Green Gables and ran it through my Xyron 3-inch Sticker Maker.
Then I applied it to a piece of glitter cardstock (I cut the shape out by hand), and punched a hole in the corner. Then I tied some twine through the hole and used that to tie the trims to the die cut.
By the way, I added some color to the lace with the Quick Quotes chalk ink.
After hot gluing the die cut to the inside of the shell, I hot glued another small shell to the corner. Then I hot glued some twine to the top for hanging. All done with this seashell Christmas ornament.
For the abalone shell, I cut out a seahorse with my Cricut Explore and ran it through my Xyron 3-inch Sticker Maker.
Then I cut another seahorse out of glitter paper and adhered them together. Next, I hot glued a small scallop shell inside the abalone shell, then I glued the seahorse on top.
And I took another Quick Quotes chipboard quote and glued it to the front, as well as some lace at the top of the abalone shell and some twine at the top for hanging.
My Seashell Christmas Ornaments were super quick to make as well as lovely with the addition of the quote pieces.
