I’m always up for another cat craft in honor of our Sherry Kitty, this time for the holidays. Here’s how I made my Meowy Christmas Wall Art!

I used papers from the two DCWV paper stacks in the supply list above, plus the holly leaf template from the Seasonal Wreaths stack, which I’ll talk about later. So first, print out the Meowy Christmas Template onto white cardstock (click the link in the supply list for the template).
Cut out and trace the cat shape onto your choice of cardstock and cut it out with scissors.
You can also download the shape below, and cut it out with your Cricut Explore. I used a 12×12 inch frame, so my cat is about 8.5 inches tall.
Run the cat shape through the Xyron Creative Station to apply adhesive to the back.
Center it onto a piece of contrasting scrapbook paper.
Here’s the holly leaf I was talking about. Cut it out and trace it onto some green scrapbook paper.
I cut two different shades of scrapbook paper and folded the leaves down the middle. The leaves looked nice with one half down on the paper.
So I ran them through my Xyron 1.5-inch sticker maker, folded in half, so the adhesive would only be applied to one side of the leaf.
I also cut out by hand a little collar for the kitty. Then I adhered the holly leaves, and also hot glued a red pom pom to the leaf stems. And finally, I cut out the Meowy Christmas lettering from the printable and layered it on top of two pieces of scrapbook paper as a banner in front of the kitty, all adhered using my Xyron Creative Station.
